The farmstand is now closed for the winter 2019-2020 season. We will re-open the farm store in the spring.
Cheese will remain available year-round through our website, by calling the farm, and through our many retail partners.

Robinson Farm is located in the rolling hills of Hardwick, MA. Our farmstand season runs from April 15 through November 15. During the season the farm store is open daily from 7am - 6pm. We accept cash, personal check and PayPal from your phone. We stock the following certified organic products: cheese, raw milk (half gallon glass & gallons), pastured pork, grass fed beef, apples & seasonal vegetables. Also, eggs from our pastured chickens, SideHill Yogurt, Real Pickle Products, Westfield Farm Goat Cheese, Hardwick Sugar Shack maple syrup, Grimes Apiary honey, jams, Venus wafers, Effie's Homemade cakes and more locally-grown quality products!

Seasonal Herd for 2020
2019 & 2018 both gave us an abundance of green pastures and lots of 100% grass-fed, organic milk to make cheese!
As a result, we have an excellent inventory of well-aged cheeses, many over a year old. It seems a good juncture for us to make the leap to a seasonal herd of cows. Although seasonal breeding is a challenge, we have always tried to have most of the cows calving in the spring. This allowed us to take full advantage of the spring grass for the best cheese making, but in wanting to provide year-round raw milk to our customers, we kept some cows calving in winter and continued milking through the winter, albeit just once per day instead of twice as in the growing season.
Our raw milk customers were the catalyst for our transition, 15 years ago, to grass-fed and subsequently to organic and then to cheese. We appreciate all their support and hope that they will continue to buy our raw milk during the growing season. Having a seasonal herd greatly improves our lifestyle and permits us to focus on cheese sales in the winter.
As many of you know, we are slowing down and are seeking the right individual(s) to purchase the farm and continue the tradition of farming here.
Raw milk sales will pause for the winter at the end of October. The last bottling date of 2019 will be October 30. We will wind down the farm store through early November for the winter, and our last date for farmstand sales for 2019 will be November 15 (reopening April 15, 2020). Wholesale & retail cheese will be available throughout the year. Our Arpeggio cheese has a shorter shelf life, so we will have Arpeggio till January then can make it again on green grass in the Spring. In general, cheese orders can be placed via email, text or through our website. Cheese is shipped UPS or arrangements can be made to pick up the cheese at the farm. Retail cheese is available locally at Rose 32, Hardwick Farmer’s Coop, The Country Store in Petersham, Carter & Stevens Store, & Lost Town Brewery. Organic, 100% grass fed raw milk can also be found at Chase Hill Farm in Warwick, MA and Conventional Raw milk at Carter & Stevens Farm in Barre, MA.
